How is the score calculated?
Each heat pump is scored 0–10 on every criterion you pick, scaled between the 5th and 95th percentile of the heat pumps in your filtered range (so one extreme model can’t distort the scale). Lower is better for noise, weight, cold operation, price and GWP. Scores are combined using your weights into a total out of 100. Only heat pumps that publish every selected figure are ranked. SCOP is taken at 35 °C flow and COP at A7/W35 so models are compared at the same conditions.
